Passing Through

Based on drawings made while travelling through South West England; mapping the nature of things, fragments remembered. The brain and the eye struggle to keep up with the hand and the land as they move in opposite directions. Gaps emerge and shapes fold in on one another. It is in the gaps - between one state - one place - and another that something else happens. Series 2013-2014
