UFO Sightings

These oil transfer drawings are based on the images that are held at the National Archives depicting sightings of unidentified flying objects drawn by those who saw them in our skies. What I love about the drawings from the Nat Archive is they are pretty much the only visual record of sightings that have been reported by the public and military personnel. In drawing from the archived drawings my own subjectivity expands and distorts the record and taps into our collective imagination.
